Great Yorkshire Morris's first day of dance was in Wharfedale, on Saturday 20th May, 2006. Our guest sides were:

but the elements thought otherwise. Heavy rain through the morning precluded dancing outdoors in Skipton, but the nice people at Craven Court Shopping Centre took pity on us and let us dance in there, provided we weren't too noisy about it.

After that, it brightened up, and the rest of the day was mostly dry. The Forresters in Grassington did us proud, and we danced both in their yard and also round the corner in the Market Square.

We capped the day with an evening meal and a music session in The Fleece in Addingham, and a good time was had by all.
